How is a bicycle booking working:

Please give your name, email and telephone/whatsapp.

Click on the pictures of the bicycles/items that you want to rent. As soon as you have marked a picture, you will be asked about the sizes/frame types. Please mark it!

Please give the handover date/time, when you want to pick up the bikes and the date/time when you will return.

Attention: When you return a 4hrs-rental bike after 4 hours only the full day price has to be paid.

You have to agree to the data storage, and acknowledge that the booking will only become valid with our confirmation, and/or signing a contract and we may ask for a downpayment.

We require a security deposit  for the bicycles during the rent or you leave a personal document with us (only one, even if you rent several bikes). The cash deposit per bicycle is:

EUR 50,- for KTM Life Joy and Life One, trailer or children bikes,

EUR 100,- for Conquest, Gravel-, Roadbike and Kalkhoff E-bikes

EUR 250,- My Esel Tour Pro E-bikes & KTM Cento E-bikes

Security deposits can be paid in HUF as well. If you pay by card it can be HUF only and may lead to additional bank charges. Security deposits in HUF will be returned in HUF.

In case of booking bicycle(s) we may ask you for a downpayment. The downpayment is 20% at the time of booking and is not refundable. Latest one week before taking over we may require you to pay additional 30%, thus in total 50% of the rental. At handover of the bicycle(s) you have to pay the remaining amount.

Cancellations: If you cancel a booking after paying the first downpayment, we have to charge you an administration fee of 20% of the rent, which is covered with your downpayment. If you cancel a booking shorter than one week before the planned handover, we have to charge you an administration fee of 50% of the rent.

Do not pay anything before we confirm, this form is no contract.

TERMS OF THE RENTAL

1.The Client/Lessee declares to use the bicycle and equipment at his own risk and responsibility. This includes damage and loss of the bike and other accessories, also when caused by third parties.

2. With taking over the bicycle the Client/Lessee has inspected the proper condition of the bike and other accessories. We encourage you to try out the bicycle at our shop.

3. The Client/Lessee declares to be able to ride a bike, will obey the regulation of road traffic, and is aware that using the bike under the influence of alcohol and drugs is forbidden.

4. Damages (also to third parties) have to be borne by the Client/Lessee.

5. In case the bicycle is not returned on time the company/lessor is entitled (a) in case of 4 hrs rentals to charge the full day fee (EUR 18,-) or in other cases another full day rent unless agreed otherwise (prolongation). Not returning the bicycle is a crime.

6. Bike & Relax cannot offer on-site repairs for defects on your tour, unless explicitly agreed. Defect bikes have to be returned at the expense of the client. We offer telephone assistance.

7. The agreed value of the Cross- & Trekking bicycle is 800 EUR, the roadbike 1000 EUR, the gravel, KTM Life Conquest is 1800 EUR each, and the E-Tour Pro EUR 4000, which has to be paid when the bicycle is lost or not returned.

8. Hungary is a quite safe place, but make sure to lock your bicycle always to a non-movable object. Even for short breaks. Keep it in a non-public space during night time. Take off your personal belongings, LED-lights, smartphone holders, helmets etc.

9. Payment: The rental fee has to be paid in advance latest at the handover of the bicycles. Bike & Relax may require a deposit.

10. Handover and drop-off is only at our shop in 1075 Budapest, Madach Imre ut 12.

We only use personal data such as name, address and email as specified by the data protection laws. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties.
