Budapest – Szob – Vác – Budapest (Train/Bicycle ca. 30km – optional up to ca. 70km)
Selfguided bicylce tour by train and bicycle/e-bike to the famous beaches in the Danube Bend – ca. 30km, can be prolongated to ca. 70km Prices from EUR 59/person Easy summer ride, excellent for hot weather and family friendly. (Attention: When the river has high water the beaches will be flooded).
Take the train from Budapest Nyugati Railway Station and ride to Szob at the Slovak border, ca. 50 min. Start with the bicycle from Szob on the Danube Bicycle Trail. Ride along the river to Vác from where the train will bring you back to Budapest.
Expect ca. 30km of bicycle riding (option: return to Budapest on the bicycle, ca. 70km in total). Please note: you have to load your bicycle on the train.
Time schedule:
- Recommended start from Nyugati Railway Station ca. 09:00
- Arrival in Szob ca. 10:00
- Plenty of time for enjoying the ride and relaxing on a beach
- Take a train in Vác at ca. 16:30 arrival in Budapest ca. 17:00
